Privacy notice

This notice explains the information practices for our website, enrollment process, and family portal. Last updated July 25, 2026.

Information we collect

We collect the contact, enrollment, child-care, attendance, communication, billing, health, allergy, emergency-contact, and permission information needed to respond to inquiries and provide care. Enrolled families may also receive private daily reports and photos.

How information is used

Information is used to evaluate enrollment, communicate with guardians, safely care for children, maintain required records, administer billing, and operate the parent portal. We do not sell family or child information.

Photos and sensitive records

Child photos, health information, custody information, and emergency details are treated as private records. Photo permissions are managed separately from general enrollment and may be withdrawn by contacting us.

Service providers

We may use vetted providers for hosting, email delivery, file storage, database services, and payment processing. Payment-card details are handled by the payment processor rather than stored directly by Tiny Steps Family Day Home.

Retention and choices

Child-care and staff records are retained for at least two years after care or employment ends. Financial, safety, legal, insurance, or licensing obligations may require longer retention. A legal hold suspends destruction. When eligible records are destroyed, the provider keeps a limited disposition showing what was removed, when, and by whom. Guardians may request access to or correction of their family information.

Security and contact

Access is limited to authorized caregivers, administrators, and the appropriate guardians. Enrolled guardians can submit privacy requests from the secure family portal.

Enrollment and care are also governed by signed family agreements and permissions. Review our parent policies.
